A demand for Dick Kirbyâs call creations and business opportunity led them to start âQuaker Boy Game Callsâ. The company is privately held with Mrs. Kirby being the principal owner. Beverly remains as the companyâs chief operating officer today. The company name comes from Dick and Beverlyâs hair shop, known while in existence, as Quaker Boy Barber Shop and Quaker Girl Beauty Shop . The name originated from the âQuakerâ settlement of Orchard Park on Quaker Rd. in Orchard Park New York.
